Messy Advent Theme

The last Messy Church of the year was on the theme of Advent; preparing for Christmas and the gift of Jesus to the world.

The team put together a great selection of craft activities to help everyone explore the theme which included making Advent wreaths out of playdough, beautiful angels and decorating stars. Pin the tail on the donkey was also a great hit! For tea, there was lots of delicious food and Christmas crackers!

All the families that came along were invited to sign up to host the St Mary’s Posada (travelling nativity set) this Advent. If you weren’t able to make it and would like to host the Posada for an evening, please feel free to get in touch.

A big thank you to all the Messy Church team for making it such an enjoyable afternoon! There won’t be a Messy Church in December. It will return on 15 January!

Everyone is warmly invited to the Christmas Eve All Age Crib Service at 4pm in St Mary’s Church.
