Advent Trail Created Around Winston Village

The St. Andrews Advent Trail around Winston proved a hit with both residents and visitors. Those taking part in the trail were able to listen to a carol at each stop and read a poem about the Advent season.

QR-codes were used to make sure the carols could be listened to by those passing whilst still keeping the spirit of Christmas by reflecting upon the period.

In addition to the Advent Trail, Simons Edens and Staindrop Primary School have put together a series of advent reflections to accompany the ‘physical’ Advent Trail.
