Greetings from St Mary’s and St Andrew’s

Dear friends,

Geoff is on holiday so this newsletter is coming directly from me! Since writing it, our Holiday Club has concluded and our Welcome Party for Ukrainian families hosted by Gainford residents was held yesterday. We are so very thankful to God for both!

Meanwhile, this newsletter is a bumper issue representing 3 Sundays as Brian and I are away for 10 days and Geoff is away after we return! I take tomorrow’s services at St Andrew’s and St Mary’s at the usual times, then Bishop’s Chaplain Chris Knights will be with our churches on Sunday 14th August. I am back in time to take the service on 21st August.

I wish all of you a happy summer, and look forward to being in touch when I return.
