Churches Together and Durham Diocese – Vision Day 2022

Vision Day – 2022

A total of 16 Parishioners from St Andrew’s, Winston and St Mary’s, Gainford gathered to explore thoughts about our Vision as a Church in our communities.  As Churches we have a significant amount of programmes, from eco-awareness, to youth engagement, all the way through to Bible study and of course our regular service programmes too and optimising and improving upon what we are already doing was our aim for the series of sessions ran throughout the day.

Everyone attending had pre-tested with a negative result within 24 hours of attending.  Our Churches continue to maintain Covid precautions and full details of these can be found at the bottom of this page.

We were assisted by Ali Bianchi, Durham Diocese’s Church Planting Coordinator, and joined by Catherine Simpson, Durham Diocese Schools Chaplaincy Advisor and Growing Faith Champion.

If you have any interest in what is currently available in our Church communities take a look at our Get Involved section – though there is always a lot more happening than we can ever fit in one page!  We are always glad to hear from those interested in either joining our existing projects or feel there is something they feel the community could benefit from.  Please visit our Contact Us section to get in touch!

Our churches continue to be open for private prayer.

Please read the separate page outlining the church’s modified approach
